I do credit card transactions on a iphone 5 and the square card reader plugs into the headphone jack. Will the headphone jack adaptor for the lightning port work with the card reader on the new phone?
the square card reader will work when you plug it into the lightning port using the adapter.

you might have to duct tape the reader to the phone. cuz the adapter is a short cable.
I haven't got a iPhone 7 yet. I have a 5 but I want to make sure that a 7 will take a card reader. I hope I won't have to resort to duct tape.
